Bio: Ruby Mae Best was born Ruby Mae Cullins on March 2, 1920 in Memphis, Tennessee. While attending the University of Texas in Austin, she was classmates, as well as a member of the drama club and Curtain Club, with John B. and Idanell "Nellie" Connally. She died on June 12, 2001.
