Bio: Alan Loren Dean (b. July 27, 1918, Portland, Oregon-d. December 2, 2010, Arlington County, Virginia), served in various official government positions including posts with the Bureau of the Budget, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Budget, the Office of Management and Budget, the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and the U.S. Railway Association. He also served on the Arlington County Board in the 1950s.
