Bio: Hattie Belle Hoffman (b. Hattie Belle Calisch, March 2, 1924, Tucumcari, New Mexico-d. March 1, 1972, Dallas, Texas), civic and political organizer for the Democratic Party. She is the daughter of Stanley G. Calisch and Erna Freudenberg. She married Harry Hoffman in 1950; they had three children. Hoffman is interred in Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
