Bio: Lorraine Barnes Hood (b. October 2, 1909, Missouri-d. September 28, 1997, Austin, Texas), reporter. She graduated from Austin High School in 1927, and worked as a reporter for the Austin American-Statesman. She was married to Buck Hood. Hood is interred in Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
