Bio: Don Hummel (b. September 8, 1907-d. August 18, 1988), businessman and politician, was the mayor of Tucson, Arizona, from 1955 to 1961. He served as Assistant Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development during the administration of President Lyndon B. Johnson, and was a concessionaire for the National Park Service, owning and operating hotels and other visitor services in several national parks.
