Bio: John Tylor Middleton (b. September 15, 1912-d. March 20, 1993) was the Director of the Statewide Air Pollution Research Center from 1962 to 1967. He was the director of the National Center for Air Pollution Control from 1967 to 1968, and Commissioner with the National Air Pollution Control Administration at the Environmental Protection Agency from 1968 to 1970, then Deputy Assistant Administrator for air programs at the Environmental Protection Agency. Beginning in 1970, was also the Director of the World Health Organization's International Reference Center for Air Pollution Control.
