Bio: James Edwin Webb (1906-1992), lawyer and government official, was the Director of the Bureau of the Budget from 1946 to 1949, Under Secretary of State from 1949 to 1952, and Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration from 1961 to 1968.
