Bio: Edward Wenk (b. 1920) was a senior specialist in science and technology for the Legislative Research Service at the Library of Congress from 1959 to 1961, and chief of the scientific policy research division at the Library of Congress from 1964 to 1966. He was Technical Assistant to the President's Science Adviser and Executive Secretary of Federal Council for Science and Technology at the White House, from 1961 to 1964. From 1966 to 1970 he was Executive Secretary of the National Council on Marine Resources and Engineering Development in the Executive Office of the President.
