Bio: John Richard White (b. April 10, 1946, Lubbock County, Texas) is from Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin before joining the United States Army Signal Corps and serving in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968. He is the son of John C. White, Texas Commissioner of Agriculture and Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.
