All right. The question of Indian policy was one I found one of the most frustrating issues

Yes. --with the idea of naming the District of Columbia Stadium for Robert Kennedy.
He, of course
- on the other hand probably the candidate that I most closely identified with
because of my own personal background was Hubert Humphrey. And you know if you
had just given me the choice ideally, I think I probably would have picked Humphrey.
Kennedy in the early
- the differences between Presidents Kennedy and
Johnson, both of whom you had ample opportunity to observe. Talk particularly, first of
all about the difference in approach in Cabinet meetings.
U:
There were differences. They were not too great, however
- gathered strength over the
years. Then when President Kennedy came out for a wilderness bill of some kind, this
gave it new momentum. President Johnson supported it and of course he signed the bill in
September of 1964. Aspinall initially took a very hard
