Bio: Genevieve Blatt (1913-1996) was co-founder Americans for Democratic Action; Chief Examiner of the Pittsburgh Civil Service Commission; Secretary of Internal Affairs, 1954-1957; member of LBJ's Consumer Advisory Council; Assistant Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity; and a Judge, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, 1971-1993. She was the first woman elected to statewide office in Pennsylvania.
