Bio: Thomas E. Cronin (b. March 18, 1940, Milton, Massachusetts) is a professor of Political Science at Colorado College. He earned a B.A. in History from Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University. From 1969 to 1972 he was a research associate for the Brookings Institution. He has also held teaching positions at University of North Carolina, Brandeis University, University of Delaware, Newark, University of California, and Princeton University. From 1993 to 2005 he was President of Whitman College. He was a White House Fellow under President Lyndon Johnson in 1966 and 1967. He is the author of numerous papers and books focusing on public policy, politics and the presidency.
