Bio: Harry Joseph Middleton (b. October 24, 1921, Centerville, Iowa-d. January 20, 2017, Austin, Texas), American journalist, who served as Lyndon B. Johnson's Presidential speech writer and staff assistant from 1967 to 1969 and as the director of the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library from 1970 to 2002.
