Thursday Night
Darling:
We sent the Neutrality bill to a conference com today. It will likely be back and be voted upon by Saturday. I will be ready to leave except for the REA – RFC consolidation which I’m working on. The REA will finish with it tomorrow and then I have to run it thro’ [sic] RFC. I expect this will take until next
2
Wed. or Thursday and then I’ll wire or call you at Montgomery.
Thanks lots for the candy. It came today and I’ve already eaten half of it. It was so sweet and thoughtful of you to send it.
I’m crazy to see you. We will start at Brenham and go on a new honeymoon.
I love you, love you. OOOXXX
