The series is comprised mainly of video coverage of special events sponsored by the Lyndon B. Johnson Library, including guest speakers and symposia. The series also includes several related audio recordings, and additional video recordings donated to or collected by the LBJ Foundation. It also includes material copied from other Library moving image collections for the purposes of use by the Foundation or in exhibits.

The collection consists of videotaped interviews with friends, family, and former staff of Lyndon Baines Johnson. Interviews focus on reminiscences of Johnson, his personality, and his sense of humor. Events discussed vary in time period but the focus is mainly on the White House years of 1963-1969.
