Darling: Had your letter written Sunday this a.m. Enjoyed 2 or 3 times every line even tho’ we had talked since you wrote it.
Have just returned from seeing Sec. Ickes re pork comps. Also saw Tom Corcoran for a moment. Plan to see him again in day or two. Understand Marsh will be here tomorrow and am going to arrange for him to see Pres. re politics in general.
Had dinner last night at Wellys with he and Alice Hopkins and then the three of us drove out to see Cecil and Jack--had a bottle of beer, played with William and home to a lonely room and hard bed at 10:30. Wanted to call you again but ‘fraid I couldn’t pay the bill when it comes in.

Been thinking we would be here in session until late Aug. but now believe it may be possible to get away near end of this month. After we adjourn I’ll stay couple of weeks to get REA, PWA, WPA cleared up after other members have gone. Will know much more about details after this week.
Sorry haven’t been able to get going on house. Don’t let it trouble you tho’. We will stay at hotel or go visiting if necessary until completed.
Call Mother & give her my love.
Love & Kisses. --- O O O O LBJ Write Write
